David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC news program World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for where he acts as a co-anchor. The show is animated and features shocking videos of celeb gossip the show has grown into the most watched newscast in America. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He was the anchor for numerous show specials during the primetime hours of ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint Refugees in America. He has covered news around the globe, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R.
